Developed in partnership with leading employers, healthcare providers and higher education institutions, our facilities provide students with access to industry-standard equipment and real-world learning experiences.
Whether students are pursuing Engineering or Health & Life Sciences, they have opportunities to develop practical skills, apply classroom learning and gain valuable hands-on experience that prepares them for university, degree apprenticeships and employment.
Specialist facilities include:
- Industry-standard engineering workshops equipped with milling machines, lathes and welding bays.
- Advanced CAD and product design suites featuring specialist software and technology.
- High-specification prototyping facilities including 3D printers, routers and laser cutters.
- Five dedicated science laboratories and specialist facilities for practical investigation and research.
- A purpose-built Healthcare Suite featuring a hospital ward environment, simulation equipment, observation technology and computerised mannequins.
- Specialist Health & Life Sciences facilities developed in collaboration with healthcare partners.
- Opportunities to access university and NHS training facilities linked to Health & Life Sciences learning.
- Dedicated computing facilities supporting the delivery of technical qualifications.
