AAQ Applied Science
BTEC National Applied Science is a practical and engaging Level 3 qualification designed for students who are interested in developing their knowledge of biology, chemistry and physics through real-world scientific applications. Combining theoretical understanding with hands-on laboratory work, the course develops the practical, analytical and investigative skills needed for Higher Education and careers in science, healthcare, research and related industries. Students gain experience of professional scientific techniques and learn how scientific principles are applied in a range of contexts, making it an excellent complement to A Levels and other Level 3 qualifications.

- Practical Scientific Procedures and Techniques

Assessment
Assessment is through a combination of external assessments and internally assessed coursework, allowing students to demonstrate both their scientific knowledge and practical investigative skills.
