A Level Biology
A Level Biology provides an exciting insight into the living world, helping students understand everything from the structure of cells and genetics to ecosystems, evolution and human health. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical investigation, students develop a strong understanding of biological processes and their impact on individuals, society and the environment. The course encourages analytical thinking, problem-solving and scientific enquiry while building valuable practical and data-handling skills, making it excellent preparation for Higher Education and careers in medicine, veterinary science, healthcare, research, environmental science and biotechnology.

Assessment
Assessment is through three written examinations and practical skills assessed throughout the course, allowing students to demonstrate both their theoretical knowledge and scientific enquiry skills.
